Volunteer Opportunity!
Join the Friends of the White Clay Creek Preserve for our Monthly Spring Trail Improvement! This is a fantastic chance for new trail volunteers to get involved.
What: Monthly Spring Trail Improvement – pulling/cutting invasive plants to help maintain trails. Where: White Clay Creek Preserve, Landenberg, PA – location in the Preserve to be determined. When: Dates: March 8, April 12, and May 10, 2025. (weather permitting) Time: 9 AM to Noon (or shorter as individuals need)
Preregistration Needed: Send an email to vicechair@friendsofpawccp.org at least 3 days prior to the date(s) you want to participate.
A few days before each work Saturday, the meeting location will be sent to you. Email any questions to vicechair@friendsofpawccp.org.
What to Bring:
- Water
- Tools will be provided -or- bring your personal favorite tools for pulling or cutting back invasive plants. (Clippers, loppers, hoes, hedge trimmers, weeders)
- Wear:
- heavy work or hiking shoes
- long pants
- work gloves
- eye protection
Come out and help us keep our trails in great shape while enjoying camaraderie and the great outdoors!
